Announcement of the TICC 2023 finalists

Trio Incendio, Trio Tokava and Rilian Trio are through to the Final round of Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition (TICC) 2023. Jury leader, violinist Anthony Marwood, presented the result at 15.25 on 28 September.

Today's second round started with the premiere of Shining Through, which was a well-received by the musicians, jury and not to mention the audience! The piece was written by composer Ellen Lindquist, who was present at all five performances.

The Final is held Saturday 30 September in the Free Mason Hall in Trondheim. The trios will perform music by Schubert and there are cash prizes of more than NOK 300,000 and concert engagements that will be awarded. In addition, the winners will be given a print by the artist Håvard Homstvedt.
